Smooth Bulb Handled Wet Felting Ribbed Roller/Rolling Pin

Hand crafted from wood especially for rolling wet felt.

Lightweight

Smooth bulb handles

Oiled (three times) and buffed to protect the wood from water damage. This finish will not crack off, unlike other finishes when they come in contact with water.

This looks very much like a regular rolling pin but it is ridged. It is used to exert pressure on the fibres during the felting process, usually after the fibres have been rubbed by hand. Use it as you would a rolling pin, and remember that the more pressure you apply the quicker the fibres will bind together.

Please note that this is a 16" roller with small fixed handles. The handles do not rotate independently of the main roller.
